Alicia has been a triathlete for more than half of her life beginning at 11 years old and turning professional at 14. She juggled academics and sport and earned a masters degree in Athletic Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Sport Psychology.
Since then, Alicia has evolved into one of America’s great triathletes. She was the queen of the Olympic distance non-drafting events and winning 17 races in 2013 and 2014. She would routinely ride sub 60 minutes for 40 km!
Then in 2015, she began racing IRONMAN 70.3 and has twice been the top American finisher at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships and has 5 IRONMAN 70.3 victories.
For a few years, Alicia raced the full IRONMAN distance (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) and had three top 5 finishes. She is now focusing on both Olympic distance and Ironman 70.3 and continues to dominate both distances.
Her favorite rocket fuel combo is: two scoops cranberry-raspberry hydro, 1 scoop watermelon amino, 1 scoop salt.
